Let us tell you exactly what to expect from our dental practice so that your booking and appointment runs smoothly.
Your first appointment:
We allocate a full hour for all initial appointments. This is a thorough exam and allows us to understand what your needs are and how we can help you. It also allows us to get to know YOU – your fears, your questions, your expectations – so that you feel comfortable and happy. During your appointment, Dr Segal will discuss the treatment options with you to help meet your treatment goals.
Once the examination is complete and we have answered all your questions, we will show you to the front desk to book an appointment. If your dental problem is urgent, we will try to take care of it during your initial appointment so that you are looked after immediately. You can call or email us at any time between appointments to discuss anything.
What to bring to your first appointment:
Please arrive 10 minutes early to fill in forms and make yourself comfortable. We make every effort to run on time.
Please bring any reports or x-rays you may have.
Don't forget your Health Fund card for on-the-spot claiming. (Hicaps)
Late notice/Non-attendance policy:
If you are running late, please call to let us know.
We rarely run late, but will let you know if it is a big delay.
If you need to reschedule an appointment we will need 24 hours’ notice. Please call us on 9419 3307 to reschedule. Please do not email or text us – it is important that you call.
